Photographs of the Lila’s Mountain Farm flock and their guardian dogs taken by shepherd Mary Berle while she works.

Mary is moved by the relationships between and among the flock and dogs, and works to capture moments as they unfold that show depths of care, protection, friendship and empathy.

Lila’s Mountain Farm is one of the last large farms in the southern Berkshires. Products include wool sweaters and yarn, flowering branches, peonies and meat. All proceeds from prints purchased go to sustaining the farm, flock and guardians.
